QUOTE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Set out below are the terms and conditions associated with quotes provided by PC Tech Support Ltd (hereafter referred to as PC Tech Support) to its clients.
Approval of a PC Tech Support quote confirms agreement with these terms and conditions.
Pricing or Other Errors
PC Tech Support will endeavor to stand over all quotes for a maximum of 7 days, certain factors such as currency fluctuations and other external factors may not allow us to do this. All quotations are subject to change and are indicative only. We reserve the right to cancel orders arising from pricing or other errors. PC Tech Support endeavors to ensure goods are in stock with its suppliers at the time of quoting. However PC Tech Support can in no way guarantee quoted goods will be in stock (or not discontinued) with its suppliers at the time of quote approval or anytime during the 7 day quote validity period. Should quoted goods not be in stock or be discontinued at the time of ordering, PC Tech Support will notify the quote contact and will endeavour (where possible) to provide alternatives at a specification and cost similar to the items previously quoted.
PC Tech Support retains the right to request up to a 50% deposit payable in advance to PC Tech Support for items quoted to and approved by its clients for ordering.
Retention of Title
Legal and beneficial title to the goods shall remain with PC Tech Support until such time as PC Tech Support has received payment of the purchase price of any goods or services previously or subsequently supplied by PC Tech Support to the customer whereupon such title shall pass to the customer.
Warranty and Support
Any original manufacturer warranties that come with the supplied hardware/software quoted for above – lie solely with the manufacturer.
PC Tech Support does not provide warranty for IT hardware or software sold nor assume any responsibility or liability regarding manufacturer warranties that exist for IT hardware/software purchased through PC Tech Support or otherwise.
PC Tech Support will provide assistance (where required) to all our customers with regards to communicating with the manufacturer for the repair or replacement of failed products previously purchased through us.
Where IT Support/Maintenance for the quoted hardware/software is required and has been agreed to be provided under an existing Managed IT Support plan – PC Tech Support will assist in the identification of any failed components (and where possible – the root cause) through remote and/or onsite troubleshooting. PC Tech Support will liaise with the manufacturer on our customer’s behalf to organise replacement of failed components that are covered under an existing manufacturer warranty.
For customers not on our Managed IT Support plan our standard hourly rates will apply for the troubleshooting of any issues (remote/onsite) and/or the undertaking of IT Maintenance.
Training on how to use the hardware or software quoted does not come as standard however can be provided for an agreed fee if required.
PC Tech Support does not assume any responsibility or liability for downtime or financial loss that may occur as a result of failures that occur within hardware or software quoted, nor any subsequent delay in the replacement of such components by the manufacturer under the original warranty.
Third Party Terms and Conditions
Please note that we do not accept any third party’s terms and conditions of sale or purchase.
Maintenance
PC Tech Support advises its customers to undertake (where possible) regular preventative maintenance on all IT hardware and software to prolong its lifespan. To prevent hardware failures due to power surges or power outages, PC Tech Support recommend all IT equipment be powered through a surge protected device such as a UPS (UN-interruptible Power Supply) or surge power strip.

We also provide Managed Anti-Virus/Anti-malware software, Web Content Security software and Online Backup services to protect our customer’s data and prevent productivity losses from Internet threats and activities.
